Former NFL player Le’Veon Bell has boldly challenged Ukrainian boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk to a fight in the ring. According to TMZ, Bell, who retired from the NFL in 2022, expressed confidence in his ability to defeat Usyk.
Bell, a lifelong boxing enthusiast, transitioned to the sport more seriously after ending his football career. Since then, he has fought four matches, recording three wins and one loss.
"If I ever get the opportunity to share the ring with him, that'd be that time where preparation meets opportunity and I'd get to show everybody what the hell I've been working on, bro," Bell said.
This past Saturday, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in their rematch, retaining all the belts of the major boxing organizations. Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.
The Ukrainian boxer remains undefeated, with 23 wins in 23 professional bouts, 14 of which were secured by knockout.
