Ex-Chelsea footballer Wayne Bridge to face YouTuber and boxer KSI in the ring

Bridge is no stranger to the boxing ring, having participated in a charity exhibition match for Comic Relief in 2018, where he defeated Spencer Matthews without much difficulty.
KSI wasted no time mocking Bridge over the infamous scandal involving Bridge's then-partner, Vanessa Perroncel, and Chelsea teammate John Terry. It was widely reported that Vanessa had an affair with Terry while in a relationship with Bridge.
However, KSI has faced criticism for choosing Bridge as his opponent. The former footballer will soon turn 45 and lacks professional boxing experience. Critics have pointed out that KSI had previously ridiculed Jake Paul for fighting opponents who were long retired from competitive sports.
During his football career, Bridge won the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup with Chelsea. He also earned 36 caps for the England national team.
