Ex-Bologna midfielder and four more big-name players on Kaizer Chiefs' radar

Despite their cup triumph, Kaizer Chiefs fell short of lofty expectations in the league. The club recognizes its shortcomings and is ready to address them with high-profile signings.
Details: The South African has unveiled the names of five footballers currently on the radar of the Naturena-based side. The headline name is Nigerian midfielder Kingsley Michael.
The 25-year-old Nigerian featured in five Serie A matches for Bologna and also boasts stints with Perugia, Cremonese, and Reggina on his Italian résumé. He now plays for Monastir in Tunisia.
Another European-experienced target for Kaizer Chiefs is forward Djibril Ouattara, who once played for Dutch side Vitesse and is currently with APR in Rwanda.
The Chiefs are also eyeing a potential move for Fiston Mayele of Pyramids, who recently dashed Orlando Pirates’ hopes in the CAF Champions League semi-finals, Jonathan Sowah of Libyan club Al-Nasr, and Kibu Denis from Simba.
Reminder: Previously, head coach Nasreddine Nabi firmly dismissed all rumors about his resignation.
