Ex-Barcelona star unsure of his future after leaving the team

At the end of June, Barcelona said goodbye to defender Marcos Alonso, with whom the Blaugrana did not renew his contract. But, after leaving the Catalan team, the 33-year-old player is not sure about his future.
He is now based in Marbella and during a charity paddle tennis tournament he was asked about where he will play next, to which he replied:
"Well, I'm still deciding and I don't know where I will play next season, although there will be news soon," Alonso told EFE.
Although he was more prominent on the pitch in his first year at the Catalan club, injuries prevented him from playing at the top level this past season.
Alonso moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2022 from Chelsea as a free agent. He played 45 games for the Catalan club, in which he scored three goals.
