Adam Szalai, assistant coach of the Hungarian national team, who was hospitalized in Amsterdam after losing consciousness on the bench during the match against the Netherlands, has announced that his condition has stabilized and expressed gratitude for the support.

Quote: "Thank you for the many messages; I’m fine," Szalai wrote on his Facebook page. The former Real Castilla player, who retired in 2023, is now part of Hungary's coaching staff.

Reminder: The Nations League match between the Netherlands and Hungary was paused for ten minutes by referee Jesús Gil Manzano after Szalai collapsed. He was quickly transported to a hospital in Amsterdam for examination.

Doctors are continuing to conduct tests to determine the cause of the incident. Hungary’s head coach, Marco Rossi, stated in an interview that the decision to resume the game was made at the players' request. The match ended with a 4–0 victory for the Netherlands.
