Everton has identified one of its main transfer targets for the upcoming summer window. According to Football Insider, the Merseyside club has made Chelsea striker Liam Delap a top priority to strengthen their attacking lineup.
Reports suggest the London side will not stand in the way of a potential sale of the 23-year-old forward, despite Delap only arriving at Stamford Bridge last summer from Ipswich. Back then, the Blues paid around £30 million and are now hoping to recoup that investment as they consider bringing in a more experienced centre-forward.
It's worth noting that this season Delap has scored just 2 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions. The striker has been losing out in the competition to João Pedro, making his departure from Chelsea a very real possibility.
