Everton is considering the possibility of signing former Manchester United player Jesse Lingard, according to talkSPORT.

The English footballer has been a free agent since the summer of 2023. Lingard's most recent club was Nottingham Forest. There were also reports that last autumn, Jesse trained for a period under the guidance of Steven Gerrard at Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia. However, the parties did not proceed to a full-fledged contract. Additionally, there were rumors that Lingard might extend his contract in Ligue 1, with sources linking the player to Lille.

Lingard made his debut for Manchester United in an official game on August 16, 2014, starting in the first Premier League match of the season against Swansea City. From the 2015/16 season onwards, he became a regular feature in United's matches.

Everton currently occupies the 17th position in the Premier League after 20 rounds and has accumulated 16 points.
