Everton have agreed a move for the Irish national team defender

Everton continues to actively work on strengthening their squad.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Toffees have agreed on a principle deal with Lyon for central defender Jake O'Brien.

A medical examination is scheduled for tomorrow, pending the agreement of personal terms. The parties are discussing a five-year contract.

It is worth noting that Everton also has issues with the winger position, and they intend to strengthen it as well.

To this end, as previously reported, they are looking to sign Napoli midfielder Jesper Lindstrøm, who can also cover both flanks as a winger.

Additionally, it has been revealed that there is a possibility of selling striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
