The Senegalese international midfielder is expected to take on a new challenge outside Europe.
Idrissa Gana Gueye has officially left Everton after several seasons. The Merseyside club announced the Senegalese international’s departure in a statement. The Toffees confirm that Gana Gueye’s contract could not be renewed after it expired on 30 June.
The 36-year-old midfielder is therefore leaving the English club after seven seasons. Idrissa Gana Gueye made 236 appearances for Everton.
Gana Gueye’s next destination is expected to be Saudi Arabia. The Senegalese player is set to sign for Al-Diriyah.
