Evans will stay at Manchester United. His new role at the club revealed

Longtime Manchester United defender Jonny Evans hung up his boots earlier this year, but that doesn't mean he's bidding a final farewell to his beloved club.
Details: According to The Athletic, the 37-year-old Northern Irishman is in talks with the Red Devils about taking up a club role focused on youth development. Evans is set to oversee the loan system for the club's rising talents: selecting the right clubs for their loan spells, monitoring their progress, and providing ongoing support throughout their development.
Background: Evans made his return to Old Trafford in the summer of 2023 after an eight-year absence, immediately becoming an instrumental figure in the squad. During his United career, he captured three Premier League titles, two League Cups, the Champions League, and the FIFA Club World Cup. In total, Evans made 241 appearances for the Red Devils, finding the net 8 times.
