Evann Guessand joins the Ivory Coast Elephants’ training camp

The Ivory Coast international has joined the squad to continue preparations for the World Cup, which will take place this summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Ivory Coast national team is holding its training camp in Paris, France. The camp began several days ago. However, some players, including Evann Guessand, had not yet joined their teammates in Paris.

That has now changed for Guessand. Winner of the Europa Conference League (Crystal Palace) and the Europa League (Aston Villa), the Ivorian striker has joined the Elephants for their training camp in Paris. Alongside his teammates, he will continue preparations for the World Cup, which kicks off on 11 June. But before flying to America, Ivory Coast will face France in an international friendly on 4 June.
