Enyimba Football Club chairman Kanu Nwankwo has appealed to the club’s supporters to remain behind the team following a difficult start to the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The People’s Elephants have failed to win any of their opening three matches, suffering defeats to Niger Tornadoes, Doma United and Inter Lagos.

The disappointing run has raised concerns among the club’s supporters, but Kanu has urged them to continue supporting the team as they look to turn their fortunes around.

In an official message to the fans, the former Nigeria international acknowledged the team’s recent struggles and thanked supporters for standing by the players, particularly during their home defeat to Inter Lagos despite the heavy rainfall.
