Euro record holder Bajrami scored again in the first minute, repeating Gattuso's achievement

In today's opening match of the UEFA Europa League, Scottish side Rangers faced off against Swedish champions Malmö, where an extraordinary event unfolded.
Details: Just 55 seconds into the match, Rangers midfielder Nedim Bajrami opened the scoring.
This marks the second time in recent months that Bajrami has netted at the very start of a game. During Euro 2024, the Albanian midfielder scored against Italy in just 23 seconds, setting a record for the fastest goal in European Championship history.
Moreover, Bajrami became the first Rangers player since 1998 to score in a European competition within the first minute of the match, a feat previously accomplished by the legendary Gennaro Gattuso.
Reminder: This summer, Bajrami joined Rangers from Sassuolo for a transfer fee of €4 million.
