Ethiopia Confirms Venue and Date for AFCON Qualifier Against Sudan

The Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) has officially confirmed the date and venue for the Walias’ opening Group 10 match in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.

According to the EFF, the Sudanese Football Association has selected Juba National Stadium in South Sudan to host the fixture.

The match is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM Ethiopian time.

Following their opening game in Juba, Ethiopia will return home for their next qualifier just four days later.

The Walias are set to face Senegal at Bahir Dar Stadium on September 29, after receiving temporary approval from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host international matches on home soil.
