Espérance de Tunis, one of Africa’s most decorated clubs, is ready to represent the continent at the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup taking place in the United States from June 15 to July 13, 2025.

African Pride on the Global Stage

After winning the Tunisian League, Cup, and Super Cup, a domestic treble that highlighted their supremacy in 2024–2025, the Tunisian champions will be one of four African teams participating in the redesigned Club World Cup.

Despite their CAF Champions League quarter-final exit at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns, Espérance’s season has been a resounding success.

Group Stage Fixtures:

  • June 17 vs Flamengo (Brazil)
  • June 20 vs Los Angeles FC (USA)
  • June 25 vs Chelsea FC (England)

Drawn into a challenging group, Espérance will need to bring their best football to compete against top clubs from South America, North America, and Europe.

Aiming to Make History

Espérance, the oldest football team in Tunisia, will want to leave a lasting mark on the international scene. They want to go past the group stage and become the first African team to go far in the recently extended Club World Cup format.

This marks a major moment not just for Espérance, but for Tunisian and African football, as the continent’s elite measure themselves against the world's best.
