Ertuğrul Doğan confident about Andre Onana’s future at Trabzonspor
The Turkish club’s president is optimistic about the Cameroonian goalkeeper’s situation.
Ertuğrul Doğan is convinced that Andre Onana will continue his time at Trabzonspor, even though the Cameroonian has returned to Manchester United. In comments reported by Ajansspor, Doğan highlighted the efforts made by Trabzonspor to meet Onana’s expectations, particularly in financial terms.
“I think Andre Onana will stay. Financially, we offered him the amount he wanted. The fans appreciate him too; he’s a man of quality. I don’t believe he can find the same level of support elsewhere as he receives here in the city. Consequently, I think he will stay with the team.”
It should be noted that Andre Onana has just completed his season-long loan spell at Trabzonspor from Manchester United. The Cameroonian goalkeeper is under contract with the Old Trafford club until 2028.
