Erling Haaland will miss another major national team tournament
Norway's national team, including striker Erling Haaland of Manchester City, failed to qualify for the 2024 UEFA European Championship in Germany.
Consequently, Haaland will miss his third major international tournament, having previously been unable to participate in Euro 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Norway finished third in Group A of the qualifiers, accumulating 11 points in eight matches, behind Scotland with 17 points and group winners Spain with 21 points.
Additionally, Georgia secured a chance to advance through the Nations League. As for Haaland's team, Norway secured the second spot in their Nations League group.
It's worth noting that Haaland made his official debut for the Norwegian national team in September 2019 and emerged as the top scorer in the new Nations League in the 2020–21 season.
