Erik ten Hag is uncertain about reaching an agreement with Manchester United for a new contract
Manchester United's head coach Erik ten Hag has expressed uncertainty about the ongoing negotiations with the club regarding a new contract.
"I am in talks with Manchester United about a new contract, that’s true. We still have to reach an agreement on the new deal. It's not easy to accomplish; there are still matters to discuss," ten Hag told NOS Studio Voetbal.
It was previously reported that Manchester United intends to continue its collaboration with Erik ten Hag as head coach and has offered him a new contract. However, ten Hag has set three conditions that must be met for him to agree to the new deal.
The length of the new contract varies according to different sources. Earlier reports mentioned a two-year contract, while The Sun suggests a three-year term.
Manchester United finished the season in eighth place in the Premier League and won the FA Cup.
