Eric Chelle Targets Michael Kayode Switch to Super Eagles as NFF Plans Key Meeting

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is reportedly making moves to convince Michael Kayode to commit his international future to Nigeria.

According to reports from ESPN, officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are currently working behind the scenes to arrange a face-to-face meeting with the Brentford defender. The planned talks are said to have the full backing of Chelle, who is eager to strengthen his squad by securing Kayode’s allegiance.

Kayode, who currently represents Italy at the youth level, remains eligible to play for Nigeria through his heritage. He was born in Borgomanero, Italy, to Nigerian parents, Victoria and Anthony.
