Eric Bailly snatched a precious draw for Real Oviedo away to Real Sociedad this Saturday 21 February, in the Matchday 25 of the Spanish La Liga. With his team on the brink of defeat, the defender popped up to restore parity before the final whistle.
It was in stoppage time that Eric Bailly made his mark, sending Aneota into a frenzy for Real Oviedo supporters. Trailing until the 92nd minute (3-2), the Ivorian found the back of the net in the 93rd minute thanks to a decisive pass from Santi Cazorla (3-3). It was a remarkable feat for the 2015 African champion, who saved his team from defeat in only his second start of the season.
