Eredivisie: Tolu Arokodare Provides Assist on Ajax Debut in 2-0 Win Over PEC Zwolle

Nigeria international Tolu Arokodare made an immediate impact on his Eredivisie debut, registering an assist as Ajax began the new season with a 2-0 away victory over PEC Zwolle.

Arokodare started the match on the bench before being introduced in the 73rd minute, replacing Abdellah Ouazane.

The Nigerian striker wasted little time making his presence felt. Just three minutes after coming on, Arokodare set up Jorthy Mokio, who finished the move to give Ajax the lead.

Ajax continued to control the game and eventually sealed all three points deep into stoppage time when Julian Brandt doubled their advantage, with Mika Godts providing the assist.

Arokodare joined Ajax last month on a season-long loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, who currently compete in the Sky Bet Championship.
