Enzo Maresca comments on potential changes for Chelsea's next match

Chelsea recently suffered a 2-1 defeat to Fulham in their last Premier League game and will face Ipswich on December 30. Maresca addressed whether lineup changes are expected.

Details: Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Chelsea's head coach emphasized the need for the team to get back to winning ways after dropping points in their last two matches.

Quote: "We’ll see if we make two, three, or four changes in the next game. It’s too early to say, but we will definitely make some adjustments. We need to get back on the winning track. We never thought we’d win every match. We lost on August 18 and then not again for two months. But it’s not about losing rarely; it’s about how we respond to defeats," explained Enzo Maresca.

Additionally, there was a surprise in Chelsea's squad for the game — the absence of winger Noni Madueke. Maresca also provided an explanation for this decision.

Chelsea lost a Premier League game while leading until the 82nd minute for the first time since October 1999. Back then, Chelsea led until the 83rd minute against Arsenal.

Reminder: After 18 rounds, Chelsea are second in the APL, four points behind Liverpool. But the Blues have already played two more games.
