Tonight in Philadelphia, USA, took place a night of boxing.

The main fight of the event was the defense of the IBF welterweight title (66.7 kg) from Jaron Ennis against David Avanesyan.

Ennis started the fight quite confidently and from the first round he showed his level of striking on his opponent. From the second round the challenger started to show himself better, but he was still losing to his opponent. In the fifth round Avanesyan managed to make a great attack, to pin his opponent at the ropes, but after that he lost the initiative and the champion knocked him down. Ennis did not have time to finish his opponent, but it was not necessary, because the challenger refused to hold the fight after talking to the team.

The second most important fight was the first defense of the WBC women's flyweight title (up to 57.2 kg) by Sky Nicholson against Dayana Vargas.

The boxers showed a great fight and spent all ten rounds in the ring, after which the judges had to determine the winner. With complete dominance, Nicholson did not give her opponent a single round and managed to win her debut title defense.

A total of eight fights took place on the evening of boxing, and the Dailysports team has prepared for you the results of this tournament.
