Argentine defender Marcos Senesi is set to continue his career at Tottenham. The London club has reached a final agreement with the player, who is expected to sign a four-year contract in the coming days.
According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, the parties had already agreed on the terms back in March. On Saturday, June 6, the 29-year-old centre-back successfully completed his medical, leaving only formalities before the transfer becomes official.
Senesi will join the Spurs as a free agent after his contract with Bournemouth expires. Barcelona had shown interest in the defender, but the Catalan side never made a decisive move—Tottenham seized the opportunity.
