England and Slovenia will meet in Group C in the final match of the UEFA Euro 2024 group stage.

Gareth Southgate's side have already guaranteed themselves a place in the play-offs, but the specialist has been heavily criticised by the public for his lacklustre style of play in the previous two matches, so the public are hoping for spectacular football at least in a match that does not carry tournament intrigue.

The Slovenians drew both games of the tournament, and now they have a chance to qualify for the play-offs even from the second place, but for this they need to beat England and hope that in the parallel match the Danes will not beat the Serbs.

As for the squads, fans did not understand Southgate's decision to call up injured Manchester United defender Luke Shaw, who is still not ready to play. He has returned to the squad, but he still needs to get into optimum condition to play on the pitch.

Shaw is the only England player so far who will not be able to help his team. Kieran Trippier healed his calf muscle and Jordan Pickford, despite a shoulder injury in training, is expected to play in the match.
