Endrick Fears Missing 2026 World Cup, Open to Leaving Real Madrid Endrick Fears Missing 2026 World Cup, Open to Leaving Real Madrid

Endrick may be one of Brazil’s brightest young talents, but the Real Madrid forward is already feeling the pressure of limited playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup. In an interview with Romário TV, the 18-year-old admitted he’s worried about missing the tournament.

“It makes me really sad thinking I might not be there. I want to help Brazil win a sixth title,” he said. Despite scoring six goals in just under 500 minutes for Madrid this season, Endrick wasn’t included in Dorival Júnior’s squad for Brazil’s latest World Cup qualifiers — only joining after Neymar's injury.

As reported by Relevo and echoed in Brazil, the fierce competition in Madrid’s forward line — featuring Mbappé, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Brahim Díaz — could prompt Endrick to consider a loan move. “It’s tough being at the biggest club in the world and not playing regularly. But I want to prove I have the level to be with the national team,” he added.

He also expressed frustration at recent omissions. “I scored in the Copa del Rey and still wasn’t called. What more could I have done?”
