End of the road? Lukaku edging closer to Napoli exit
Lukaku could be on his way to MLS.
Details: The future of Romelu Lukaku at Napoli is now in serious doubt. According to the latest from Gazetta Dello Sport, the Belgian striker is expected to depart the Neapolitan club following a public dispute that erupted over his injury recovery process.
Reports indicate that Napoli's management is already prepared to part ways with the forward and has set his transfer value at 10–12 million euros.
One of the clubs showing interest in the 32-year-old Belgian is Atlanta United from the United States, which is considering a move for the experienced striker.
While official negotiations have yet to be confirmed, the likelihood of Lukaku's departure continues to grow. If the parties fail to resolve their differences, the Belgian could switch clubs as early as the upcoming transfer window.
Lukaku's current contract with Napoli runs until the summer of 2027, and his market value is estimated at 6 million euros by Transfermarkt.
