The German Football Association has officially announced the termination of its partnership with the legendary brand Adidas, which has been the technical sponsor of the German national team for over 70 years.
The statement indicates that the parties will not renew the existing contract, which expires in 2026.
The new technical sponsor of the German national team will be Nike.
This means that the playing kit for the 2026 World Cup for the Bundesteam will be the last one designed by Adidas.
As a reminder, the upcoming Euro 2024 championship will take place in Germany. In the group stage, Julian Nagelsmann's team will face Switzerland, Scotland, and Hungary.
