Real Madrid have had a rather subdued season, and with the Club World Cup on the horizon, the tournament will mark the end of the road for one of their own.

Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Lucas Vázquez is set to play his final season as a Real Madrid player. After the Club World Cup, he will depart from the royal club.

Lucas Vázquez made his first-team debut for Madrid on July 24, 2012, in a pre-season friendly against Real Oviedo, where he immediately found the net with his debut goal.

He is a product of the club’s academy and has been with Los Blancos since 2010. This season, the 33-year-old has featured in 49 matches, netted two goals, and provided seven assists.

It’s worth noting that Vázquez isn’t the only loss for Real. After the 2025 Club World Cup, Real’s midfielder Jude Bellingham will undergo shoulder surgery, sidelining him for three months.

Reminder: Rodrygo is being linked with Arsenal’s London rivals Chelsea. The Blues are keeping a close eye on the Brazilian forward.
