Everton hosts Liverpool in a rearranged match of the 15th round of the English Premier League. This encounter marks the end of an era.
This is the final Merseyside derby to be played at the legendary Goodison Park stadium.
From the 2025/26 season onwards, Everton will replace Goodison Park with a new, modern stadium as their home ground.
The match started well for the hosts. The Toffees took the lead in the 11th minute with a precise strike from Beto. However, the Reds equalized almost immediately through Alexis Mac Allister's goal.
Heading into today's derby, Liverpool arrived as the sole leader of the Premier League, while Everton sat in 16th place.
