Saudi club Al-Ahli has officially announced the departure of Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez, thanking the player for three spectacular seasons with the team. The club released an emotional message dedicated to its talisman.

During his time at the Saudi club, Mahrez made 122 appearances across all competitions, netted 37 goals, and provided 46 assists, establishing himself as one of the key architects of Al-Ahli’s recent successes.
Before moving to Saudi Arabia in the summer of 2023, Mahrez played for English side Manchester City, where under Pep Guardiola’s guidance he won the UEFA Champions League, five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and a host of other trophies.
