During his French Open clash against German opponent Jan-Lennard Struff, Alexander Bublik was involved in an emotional and profanity-laced exchange with his coach as frustration boiled over on court.
Details: The Kazakh star engaged in a tense discussion with his coach regarding tactical adjustments during the match, with the conversation escalating into a brief on-court controversy.
Quote: “Where am I supposed to serve so he stops returning? Just one word.
Prepare the second serve. Into the body.
Get lost. Shut your mouth! I asked you to say just one word!
Into the body, I told you.”
However, the outburst did little to change the outcome, as Bublik ultimately fell to his German opponent in four sets, losing 3-1 and crashing out of this year’s Roland-Garros.
As a reminder: 17-year-old French sensation Moïse Kouamé produced a major shock by defeating Marin Čilić, currently ranked world No. 46.
