The Barcelona presidential elections never fail to deliver surprises. One of the day's headline stories was the incident involving the team's goalkeeper and captain, Marc-André ter Stegen.
Details: According to Diario AS, ter Stegen arrived at the polling station to fulfill his club duty, but was met with an unexpected obstacle. Ter Stegen was unable to vote.
It turned out that, due to a technical issue, the goalkeeper's name did not appear on the electoral register. In accordance with the strict election regulations, the commission was forced to deny Marc-André a ballot.
The situation left both the player and those present puzzled.
It should be noted that voting will continue today until 19:00 Central European Time.
