Emam Ashour Resolves Legal Dispute Following Mall Incident
Al Ahly's midfielder, Emam Ashour, has settled his legal issue with a security guard after a disagreement at a shopping mall. The player had been given a six-month prison sentence by the Sheikh Zayed Misdemeanor Court of Appeals for the incident.
Mohamed Osman, who represents Ashour, confirmed the settlement, saying: “Reconciliation took place between Imam Ashour and the security officer, and the reconciliation was registered in the real estate registry, and the matter was completely over.”
The security guard's lawyer posted pictures of the settlement process on Facebook, mentioning that his client, Abdullah Mostafa, received an apology and proper compensation.
Emam Ashour joined Al Ahly in the summer of 2023, coming from Danish club Midtjylland. Ashour has so far won six titles with Al-Ahly, the last of which was the Three Continents title against Al-Ain of the Emirates. Imam played 54 matches for Al Ahly in various competitions and contributed 23 goals, scoring 12 goals and making 11 others.
