Emam Ashour extends his contract with Al Ahly SC until 2030

The Egyptian giants and the 28-year-old midfielder have decided to continue their partnership.

Emam Ashour has officially extended his contract with Al Ahly, committing his future to the 12 time CAF Champions League winners until 2030. Having been at the club since 2023, the Egyptian international will therefore continue to represent Al Ahly for the next four years.

The renewal of Emam Ashour’s contract brings an end to several weeks of uncertainty regarding his future. Emam Ashour attracted interest from several clubs during this summer’s transfer window, including Konyaspor, who had made a formal approach in a bid to secure his services.

However, despite this interest, the Egyptian international has chosen to continue his career with Al Ahly. This sends a clear message to those vying for the 28-year-old midfielder’s signature.

With this new contract, Al Ahly will be able to continue to rely on Emam Ashour’s talent for the next four seasons.
