The Ivorian striker and the French club are reported to have reached an agreement on personal terms.

Following his loan spell last season, Elye Wahi is set to return to Nice. The French club is working calmly to bring the Ivorian international back for the new French league season.

Negotiations are reportedly underway and at an advanced stage between Nice and the Ivorian striker. Everything is said to be in place regarding the personal terms of Elye Wahi’s potential return.

According to reports, Eintracht Frankfurt, the club where the Ivorian international currently plays, and Nice are close to finalising a deal. The two parties are said to have agreed on a loan deal with an option to buy for Elye Wahi. However, nothing has yet been officially decided.

If the negotiations are successful, the Ivorian international will return to France’s Ligue 1, where he played for Nice during the 2025–2026 season. The Ivorian striker scored seven goals and provided one assist.

Elye Wahi played a key role in helping Nice avoid relegation from Ligue 1 at the end of the season. His return would therefore be a major asset for Nice.
