Elye Wahi made a lasting impression on the evening of Wednesday 22 April in the Coupe de France. The Ivorian international was the key figure in Nice’s victory over Strasbourg in the semi-final. He first broke the deadlock for his side in the 51st minute following a decisive pass from Jonathan Clauss. The Ivorian striker doubled the lead in the 82nd minute. Elye Wahi’s second goal of the evening came from the penalty spot, taking the score to 2-0.
An exceptional performance that sees Nice reach the French Cup final. Elye Wahi has scored six goals in 14 matches across all competitions since joining Nice on loan this winter from Eintracht Frankfurt.
