Elite One: Unisport strengthens its squad ahead of the new season

As the Cameroonian professional league prepares to resume, Unisport continues to strengthen its team.

Having fallen short in the title race during the final few matchdays of the previous season, the club has set its sights on new ambitions for the 2026–2027 season. Among the new signings is Junior Nyam.

The 20-year-old Cameroonian midfielder joins from Sable FC, who play in the Cameroonian second division. He has signed a two-season contract with Unisport. Junior Nyam is already familiar with Elite One, having played there for Yong Sports Academy during the 2024–25 season.

Unisport has also announced the arrival of Gabriel Ndzie Onana. The 18-year-old goalkeeper has signed a three-season contract. He is therefore set to experience the top flight of Cameroonian football for the first time.

The club has also secured the services of Neossi Kameni Gilbert. The defender joins from PWD Bamenda and has signed a two-year contract.

With these new signings, Unisport is actively preparing for the new Elite One season and intends to start the 2026–2027 campaign with a strengthened squad.
