The Bafang-based club is losing ground in the title race.
Unisport suffered their second consecutive defeat on Wednesday 17 June during matchday 25 of the Cameroonian professional league. Facing Coton Sport at the Roumde Adjia Annex Stadium, Unisport were unable to find a way through.
The Bafang-based club suffered a 3-0 defeat. Amadou Ahidjo opened the scoring for Coton Sport in the 16th minute before Carlos Yougouda scored a brace (55th, 60th) to seal his side’s victory. Following this second defeat, Unisport Bafang’s hopes of winning the 2025–2026 league title are fading.
In the second match of matchday 25 played on 17 June, Canon Yaounde beat Gazelle FA 2–0. Ako Assomo scored both goals to secure victory for Canon Yaounde.
