Elite One: Unisport Bafang is on fire

The leaders of the Cameroonian professional league have not lost any of their last eight matches.

Unisport are dominating the 2025–2026 Elite One season. The Bafang-based club put on another masterclass on Saturday 2 May during Matchday 17.

Against AS Fortuna, Unisport did not hold back. They literally thrashed the visitors with a resounding 8-0 scoreline. Dylan Kouam Mbappe, Achille Fokem, Vivien Koloto, Ghislain Tchinda and Tang Junior were the architects of this attacking display.

This was a second consecutive impressive performance for Unisport, who had also thrashed Fauve Azur (6-0) on 29 April. The Bafang club’s last defeat in Elite One dates back to 1 March. Unisport currently hold a 12-point lead over their closest rivals, Colombe.
