Elite One: Gazelle FA return to winning ways, Coton Sport keep their winning streak going
The two fixtures that kicked off Matchday 10 on Tuesday 17 March were both marked by victories.
Gazelle FA secured a win after a run of one defeat and two draws. At home against Aigle Menoua on Tuesday, the club managed to secure a 2-1 win. Gazelle had, however, made a poor start to the match, with the visitors opening the scoring. Eden Ymele had put Aigle Menoua ahead in the first half before the home side equalised in the second half to eventually win the match. Mitterand Wanre levelled the score and Kalgon Kada sealed the victory for his side with a penalty he converted.
In the other fixture, Coton Sport won 2-1 against Dynamo Douala. The visitors had taken the lead through Luke Kenda before being overturned. Jean François Manguele and Roger Emga secured the victory for their team.
With this win, Coton Sport provisionally takes top spot in the Elite One table.
