Elite One: Dynamo Douala sign a Chadian international
Cameroon’s runners-up have officially announced the signing of Mytherand Wanre as a free agent. Dynamo Douala are strengthening their defence ahead of the upcoming season of the Cameroonian professional league, Elite One.
Having narrowly missed out on the title last season, Dynamo Douala are determined to come back even stronger for the 2026–2027 season. The club are actively pursuing transfers on the local market in line with their ambitions.
Mytherand Wanre is now one of the Cameroonian club’s summer signings. The 26-year-old Chadian defender has joined Dynamo Douala on a free transfer, having left Gazelle FA upon the expiry of his contract. The Chadian international is already well acquainted with the Cameroonian league.
This new venture will therefore allow him to continue his career in an environment he knows well. With his experience and status as an international, Mytherand Wanre will aim to bring solidity to the Douala club’s defence and contribute to its ambitions for the coming seasons.
His arrival is clearly part of the club’s drive to strengthen its squad and once again be among the frontrunners in Elite One 2026–2027.
