The six matches of the Matchday 8 in the Cameroonian professional football championship scheduled for Sunday were marked by victories for Aigle Royal, Bamenda, Panthere Sportive, Fortuna and Dynamo Douala.

The league leaders, Unisport Bafang, suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat against Fortuna. Away from home, Unisport was dominated from the first half of the match. The opening goal came in the 27th minute. The home side doubled their lead in the 40th minute before scoring their third goal in stoppage time (45+1). Already struggling, Unisport Bafang received a red card in the 44th minute. This defeat is a setback for the Cameroonian league leaders, who were on a five-game winning streak in Elite One.

Popess Manguele narrowed the gap for the visitors in the 71st minute, but it was not enough.

Dynamo Douala, meanwhile, beat Aigle Moungo by a resounding 4-0. The Douala club silenced the visitors from the first half onwards.
