Elite One: Colombe Sportive confirms its first summer signing

The reigning Cameroonian professional league champions have secured the services of Dieudonné Alex Essono Omgba.

Colombe Sportive is gearing up for the 2026–2027 season. The Cameroonian club, which will compete in the CAF Champions League, is strengthening its squad ahead of the kick-off of the new domestic and continental campaigns.

Colombe Sportive announced on Tuesday 11 August that it had signed a midfielder. The player in question is Dieudonné Alex Essono Omgba, who has joined the two-time Elite One champions.

The midfielder has signed a two-season contract with Colombe Sportive. He will represent the Cameroonian champions until 2028.

Dieudonné Alex Essono Omgba has joined Colombe Sportive from Canon Yaoundé. With Colombe Sportive, the midfielder will compete in next season’s Elite One and the CAF Champions League.
