Elite One: Colombe draw with Stade Renard

The club’s title challenge has been dealt a blow.

Away from home, the second-placed side in the Cameroonian league could manage no better than a draw on matchday 17. It was a tight contest and neither side could find the back of the net.

There were attempts, of course, but no openings to rattle the net. Brice Sindjo could have secured victory for Colombe had he converted his penalty. But he missed it. Following this matchday 17, Colombe now trail the league leaders, Unisport, by 11 points.
