Elite One: 2026-2027 season dates confirmed

The race to succeed La Colombe Sportive is set to begin shortly in the Cameroonian professional league.

The Cameroonian Football Federation has unveiled the dates for the 2026–2027 season for the two main national divisions. In Elite One, the new season will begin on 17 October 2026 and end on 6 May 2027.

The top-flight clubs will therefore set out to win the title, with the aim of dethroning Colombe Sportive, the reigning champions. Meanwhile, the Elite Two season will kick off on 24 October 2026. The second-tier championship will conclude on 24 April 2027.

In the Elite One opener, Union Sportive d’Abong-Bang will face Stade Renard de Melong at the Bertoua Municipal Stadium. This fixture will officially launch the new season of the Cameroonian professional league.

In Elite Two, the opening match will see Elecport de Limbé take on Mintack FC de la Haute-Sanaga. The two sides will thus have the honour of opening the 2026–2027 second-division season.

The winter break in Elite One will run from 18 to 30 January 2027, and from 3 to 22 January in Elite Two.
