Elimane Cisse returns to Senegalese Ligue 1

The midfielder has signed with Teungueth FC.

This marks a return home for Elimane Cisse after playing in the Canadian Premier League with Forge FC. The 30-year-old will play the second half of the season with Teungueth Rufisque in the Senegalese first division.

The Rufisque club officially announced the arrival of the former Diambars player on Friday 6 February 2026 without revealing the terms of his contract. "Trained at Diambars, Elimane Oumar Cissé joins Teungueth FC after leaving Forge FC (D1 Canada).

Winner of the Chan with the local national team in 2023, Elimane Cissé will strengthen Teungueth FC's midfield for the second half of the season.
