Details: According to Eintracht's official page on social platform X, 43-year-old Spanish coach Albert Riera has officially taken up the role of the club's new head coach.
The agreement between the Frankfurt side and Riera runs until 2028, with an option for extension should the team deliver successful performances.
Riera kicked off his coaching career in 2020 as an assistant coach at Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray. After his stint in Turkey, Riera stepped up to lead clubs such as Olimpija, Bordeaux, and Celje as head coach.
Currently, Eintracht Frankfurt sits eighth in the Bundesliga, locked in a fierce battle for European qualification with 27 points from 20 matches.
