Eintracht Frankfurt coach Dino Toppmöller recently expressed disappointment over the struggles of Algerian midfielder Farès Chaïbi, who has been facing challenges in securing a spot on the team. Chaïbi was notably left out of the squad entirely during the German Cup match last Thursday, a decision reflecting his drop in form.

Speaking to Bild, Toppmöller addressed Chaïbi’s performance, saying, “I am not pleased with his body language. I expect much more from him. ”He added that while he does not intend to give up on Chaïbi, the player must “fight his way out of this slump.”

The coach encouraged Chaïbi to take inspiration from teammate Junior Ebimbe, who also struggled but managed a strong comeback. Despite Chaïbi’s involvement in 11 matches this season with only one goal, his challenges extend to national duty as well, where his strained relationship with Algerian coach Vladimir Petkovic continues.
