After the club's shirt was shown during a fashion exhibition by famed designer Marie Lueder, Zamalek supporters were extremely outraged. The garment, which had a tear at the shoulder, was displayed on the runway as part of a Berlin fashion collection.

This ripped replica of Zamalek's uniform was featured by the London-based designer's company, which was established in 2019, as part of their 2025 Fall/Winter collection, "The Shell." Luder clarified that the purpose of the collection, which included reinvented football jerseys, was to investigate the preconceptions about football fans.

According to reports, the club has started looking into its legal alternatives in order to defend its rights, and the legal department is working on the case.

Zamalek, meantime, is getting ready for its Egyptian Premier League game against Ismaily at the Peace Stadium on Friday.
